VBS
Meeting: Today-during Coffee/Fellowship
This
will be a brief introductory meeting to discuss the general details so we can
begin planning for this year’s VBS.
Please try to attend if you’ve been a part in the past or have the
desire to get involved this year.
Special
Business Meeting: March 9th,
immediately following the service. A Special Business Meeting has
been scheduled regarding the recommendation from the Elders to change our name
to Forestdale Church. Please refer to
the Special Posting on the back bulletin board.
Can Collection: The teens are up and running with
their can collection in support of our church.
For your convenience, a box has been placed in the garage portion of the
office building for any contributions you may have.
Did you know: In the event that it is
necessary to cancel our Sunday morning service because of inclement weather, we
will be listed with all the cancellations on Channel 7 (NBC), Channel 5 (WCVB)
, Channel 4 (WBZ) and Channel 56 (CW), or on the following websites: www.whdh.com, www.wbzclosings.com,
or www.wcvb.com.

The Nursery Ministry is
looking for some new or gently used furniture for the nursery. They would like to replace the changing table
and existing chair. Please see Deb
Saucier if you can help out in any way.
The Cleaning Ministry is in
need of a lightweight electric broom or vacuum to help make weekly interim
cleaning easier. Please let the office
know if you can help out.

Peace University: Begins Sunday,

Our
next session of Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University is set to begin. If
you're looking for some insight on how to get on the right path with your
finances, this course is for you! For
more information, see Tiger Loud. FPU
alumni are always welcome to attend any class for a refresher. And for teens in grades 7-12, we will once
again be offering Generation Change, a class designed to lead teens to a better
understanding of God, themselves and their money, and how it all works
together. Generation Change will run simultaneously with
Financial Peace University, Sunday evenings at 6:00.
